Great News for Union County!

Helicopter engine firm to build a plant in Union, why is this great news? Union, county had some major losses lately with two recent companys' closing their plants and moving out of the region, one sending their operation to China.

Turbomeca, a French company that makes helicopter engines is building it's first US manufacturing plant in Union county.  The company is to bring 180 to 200 much needed jobs, which I personally hope also brings with it decent wages.

Another terrific announcement comes on the heels of this one and that is that ATI Allvac is expanding it's facility in Monroe, creating an additional 125 jobs.
